When Ordering
When ordering, please write the text you want on the plaque in the message box. Check it carefully to ensure it is correct. The order includes a maximum of 20 characters, including spaces, for the name and surname, and a maximum of 16 characters, including spaces, for the location. If you need more characters, please contact me before ordering to ensure your text fits on the plaque.
Product Information
The metal plaque is designed to display details about your project, such as the builder’s name, location, and year. If you would like to leave a message or include other text, the piece can be customized. Please contact me for a quote: inga@wordpicture.se. Please notice that I handstamp the letters and that they will not be perfect in line like a maschine would do it, because i am only using my human hands, punches and a hammer, because i like the look of pieces created with hands.

Please note that the display images show examples of the product. Each item is uniquely crafted for you when you order, so there may be slight variations in shape, hammering, and engraving. While we strive to present products as accurately as possible, slight color differences may occur due to variations in screen settings, photo quality, and resolution.
Specifications:
- Material: Reused german silver or reused copper. Delivered with two brass nails.
- Texture and shape: Rounded edges, ball-peen hammered in the middle, and cross-peen hammered at the edges. Two drilled holes. Hand-stamped letters and numbers, so they will not be perfectly aligned like a machine would produce. I use only my hands, punches, and a hammer, because I love the unique character of pieces created by hand.
- Size: Approximately 0.5–2 mm thick, 8 cm long, 5 cm wide. Size may vary slightly from piece to piece.
- Letters and numbers: Uppercase, 4 mm high.
- Quantity: You can order 1, 10, or 20 pieces. Applying Your Piece
Use a plastic hammer to avoid damaging the nails or the surface of the metal plaque. Copper, brass, and German silver do not rust, but they may tarnish over time, giving each piece a unique patina. Copper develops a brown or green patina when exposed to water, wind, and weather. Brass may develop a greenish or brown patina over time. German silver may tarnish, becoming dull or slightly darkened, sometimes with brownish or greenish tones after prolonged exposure to air and moisture.
Packaging
We carefully pack all items using reused materials whenever possible. If you’d like gift packaging, please leave a note at checkout or contact us directly—we’re happy to accommodate your request.
Delivery
Free delivery. We currently deliver to Sweden and Germany. To support sustainable practices, we use green shipping that contributes to the advancement of eco-friendly transport. Delivery times are approximately:
- Sweden: 4 weeks (1 piece), 6 (10 pieces), 8 weeks (20 pieces)
- Germany: 5 weeks (1 piece), 7 (10 pieces), 9 weeks (20 pieces)

Right of Withdrawal
In compliance with the Consumer Protection Act for Distance Selling, the right of withdrawal does not apply to Made to Order items. All fine art prints are made to order specifically for you after purchase.
